Default Guild Wars Crashing My Connection?

Hi guys! It's been happening everyday. After a few hours of playing, my connection just dies and it loses connection to my computer (the modem/router loses the light that indicates it's connected to the computer). When this happens, I have to restart the whole pc because even if I unplug the moden/router and then reconnect it again, the computer won't detect it anymore.

I don't really know what's causing it because it has happened both while I was playing with people and while I was just dancing around in a town doing nothing else. I've also tried all the other games and stuff to see if it would happen, but it really only happens when I'm playing guild wars.

My specs are:
OS:
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 (build 2600)

Processor:
2.67 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo
64 kilobyte primary memory cache
4096 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Connection:
1394 Net Adapter
2Wire Gateway USB

Thanks a lot to any ideas you might share about the matter=)

Try updating your drivers for your ethernet/wireless.

that used to happen to me when i used to play a game and be on skype at the same time, exact same thing really, i had to restart my router to get my connection up and going again. the fix for it for me, was i went to control panel > administrative tools > service > then at the bottom i clicked on wireless zero configuration and I clicked on stop. I know what it does, but I just don't know how to explain it haha :-X but try that out and see if it works. Even if it doesn't work, there is no harm

Ah thanks, but I've disabled wireless a long time ago=) I guess I'll just try to find updates for my modem/router as suggested
